Vowed
to profess oneness of twin energies

Goloka was filled with all
enlightened beings. All worshipped the supreme man of the creation lord
Srikrishna and his consort Radha who graced the dais as divine parents of all
beings.
Goddess Saraswati played her Veena and
eulogised the first couple in various ways. Lord Shiv being the master of
science of sound and music got involved so much that he began to sing with
Goddess Saraswati the glory of divine parents. The lore of music and singing
overwhelmed all listeners to such an end that they lost even the sense of time
and self and as if turned into etheric vibrations of divine energy alone.
As everything that has a beginning inevitably
sees the end so did as the twin greatest of singers and musicians stop
spreading the charm of their recitation, all listeners came out of the trance
and found themselves on a lower plane. To their dismay they could not find
their hosts on the dais where only a brilliant light shimmered. All were amazed
and confused as to why and how the divine parents played this prank with their
guests who were ultimately to them, their siblings only. All devtas turned to Lord
Brahma to solve the mystery. Lord Brahma began to meditate to find the answer
to the unsolved mystery that shrouded the minds of all. What everyone found in
another moment was that only limpid and lucent water flowing calmly all around
them in Goloka. As Lord Brahma meditated he heard a voice,-“ Do not worry! I
and my consort are ever one as waves of water. Let Lord Shiv take up the
responsibility of creating Tantra Shastra that would enlighten all about
oneness of male and female who are the reflections of a single divine light.”
Said the voice that was heard by all present. All were filled with delight to
know the intent of the first couple of creation. Lord Shiv lost no time and
with a smile and full sincerity took water flowing around, in his palm and
pledged in front of all,-“I shall definitely create Tantra Shastra to pronounce
oneness of twin energies that are complementary to create and sustain the
creation.” As soon as he professed so, all found the water vanishing and the
brilliant light turning into a divine couple visible as Radha-Krishna. Glory to
you! May we all be blessed by you! Exclaimed the devtas and offered their
salutations to them.
